Canadian Academic Detailing Collaboration

RxFiles Academic Detailing Program exists to help physicians and other health care professionals make the best possible drug therapy choices for their patients. To do this, they look at effectivenss, safety and cost considerations, weeding through some of the marketing hype.

The Therapeutics Initiative is an independent organization at The University of British Columbia dedicated to providing up to date, evidence based, practical information on rational drug therapy. The Initiative is at arms length from government, pharmaceutical industry and other vested interest groups.

Sicily statement on evidence-based practice

Submitted by Dr. Martin Dawes: "Netting the Evidence" Resource List has been replaced with a "Netting the Evidence Google Search Engine". This searches over one hundred
web sites (107) associated with the METHODOLOGY of evidence based practice. (Please note: the TRIP database is the best source of actual evidence). This means that all links will be periodically refreshed but you only retrieve material on assessed EBP sites.
